How to Talk to Kids About Sexual Abuse

Did You knot that April is Child Abuse Prevention Month?  Here is a link to my article on that outlines five tips to talking to kids about sexual abuse.  When we talk to our children calmly, openly and honestly about their bodies, we significantly reduce their chances of becoming victimized.  Some of the key points are to stay calm and come from a place of love rather than anxiety or fear, call body parts by their real names and teaching what healthy touch is and is not.  Check out the full article here:
